Calvert 5th Grade History & Geography focuses on the two major areas of American history and geography. The course covers American history from early exploration through the Reconstruction, with special emphasis given to inventions and technology of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
This online course also studies the geography of the Americas with a focus on the native cultures and history of Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, as well as an exploration of the unique geography, climate, populations, and economy of each region of the United States.
